For me, Memorial Weekend marks the beginning of Summer and this one started with a heart-wrenching, 220 mph, adrenaline pumping, bang! For this year, I had the privilege to attend the 99th Running of the Indianapolis 500 this year. Anyone that knows me understands my love of fast machines, but this was unlike anything I've seen on four wheels. Not to insult NASCAR nation one bit (I am a huge fan and enjoy the live races) but nothing in racing compares to the true open wheel speed and competition of Indy. The speed, the noise and over 400,000 of my closest friends. Yep....they're all my friends as we experienced this awesomeness together. A special thank you goes out to my good friend V for hooking up myself, my pops and my bud Chris, on our first-ever visit to Indy. Truly a bucket-list experience that's right near the top. What will the 100th running of Indy be like next year? Well, I don't plan on sitting on my couch to watch it. I plan to be back in the Paddock to watch the Centennial running of the Indianapolis 500. See you next year Indy and thank you for the memories.
